Sonja Bischur contributed this necklace for the book launch at Colette
• Sonja lives and works in Vienna. I visited her last June and have suffered intense apartment envy ever since.
• She once made a pearl necklace stiffened with wire so that the wearer could mould it however they wished. Paolo Roversi shot it beautifully.
• She stops working on a piece only when it has passed through her hands many times and she’s certain it ‘feels right.’
• Sonja says: ‘I’m interested in where clothes end and jewellery begins, so in most of my collections there is an interaction between textiles and more jewellery-based elements such as chains and beads.’
